A MORNING AT BUNYA

North-west Brisbane out past Ferny Hills, Bunya Recreational Park with an assortment of easy going to some trails that are more rowdy.

Saturday morning out at Bunya Recreational Park, North-West Brisbane. Starting off on Kokoda (Blue), Carnivore (Black), Steps (Blue) and finishing off with a burn around Jurassic (Black).

Favourite of the session was Jurassic, with new features. Including some bigger jumps, berms, drops and at least 1 step up. From the carpark, start off fast, with some big jumps at the beginning and mellows out past half way with a few small uphill sections, tidy berms and ending up at the fire trail. Short stonk back to the carpark.

I typically get around by train. Windsor to Ferny Grove, short ride to Iron Bark, then up to Bunya from there via a couple of roads. Bumped into a few friendly and furry faces along the way. Big shout out to the local trail care volunteers from 'Northside Trail Care Alliance' for their most excellent work. Especially on Jurassic. Cheers.

I run a 2021 Norco Sight A1, 27.5" large. Run with Adidas 510 clod-hoppers (I got mine from Wiggle in the UK) there is also a Goretex version too, Trailforks for all local and abroad trail planning and info, shot GoPro HERO 11 Black and cut together in Adobe Premiere Pro CS. Like, comment, subscribe all that. If you want to.
