Say 'ELLO'

Today I joined 'ELLO' a social space for sharing and nothing else. No fuss, no clutter, no worries.

Follow me here.

The layout is simple and beautiful (or simply beautiful). Minimalistic and clean in it's approach. Focusing on what's important. Sharing. Which ever way you look at it. A way to connect and meet other creative (or inspiring) humans from around the world. I love seeing (and meeting) other creatives from different places. Cultural, environmental, historical, roots/ origin > influences. Process, the journey of creating something. Be it digitally, by hand or something else? Perhaps.

101 Film Photography

Today I am proud to announce that I am launching 101 Film Photography. My passion for film photography and teaching others this craft.

101.

Everything from the basics including camera, lens and film selection to everything else you might need to know to get started. Including business tips and tricks from websites to social media. If you've never shot film before or starting out with photography or you want to make the switch from digital to film, I can help.

Easy to understand, lots of practical and theoretical application. I have over 7 years photographic experience from shooting commercially on digital for 6 years and just over 1.5 years shooting film. Switching to film early 2013. After over 1.5 years of shooting film, I am glad I made the change.

The aesthetics, the use of old cameras, working with film is a completely different experience. One I hope I can share with you. My passion.

101.

101

I will be launching (v soon) Film Photography 101. 1 on 1 Tuition covering everything (mostly) about 35mm stills photography.

Everything from camera lens selection, films, camera setup, operation and most importantly, how to make pictures. With hands on practical teaching, sprinkled with theoretical know-how, to set or get you on (the right) track. Be it your first camera (#veryexcited) or you're switching from digital to film.

*This will be mainly focused on street / fine art photography. Looking for the artistic / unseen in the everyday seen (/ scene). In my town of Brisbane, happy to travel to either Gold or Sunshine Coasts.

"Back in the olden days, I use to shoot digital." They (I) might say.

Stay tuned and watch this interweb space.
