European Highlights: Rome and Vatican City

Rome, a very ancient city with blends of the obvious ancient elements and modern twists. One key highlight being the Colosseum. With construction starting 70 AD, it has mostly survived test of time. With efforts to rebuild some parts have befallen time, it remains almost 2000 years later (mostly) intact. A highlight of the mighty Roman Empire and their incredible design / building techniques.
